Sam a free man of colour aged
about thirty five or forty years six feet
one or two inches high dark complexion
and by occupation a day labourer
and Catherine (alias) Caty his wife
of a dark complexion of middle
age and size were licensed to
remain in this State as free persons
of Colour so long as they were of
