The Internet grows in value every day, if you can get on! This issue is loaded with articles obtained from just
a few minutes on-line. There are many helpful areas. Many tireless and dedicated volunteers are working to
provide updated information and material. Even our Livingston County has a presence. We, the Society, [but
in reality mostly Fred Woods] have taken on a project to place cemetery records on-line in a searchable format.
With the assistance of other volunteers, we have the ability to copy other valuable research documents and
keep them in electronic format. Quickly duplicated, searchable, easily readable and quoted. Much easier that
digging through dark dusty attics and basements, however, not quite as exciting as opening an old scrapbook
and finding a yellowing document that is a vital link to your family history. — Editor.
